Anahita invited the audience to explore their introspective journey through guided meditation followed by a painting session and then a discussion. The participants developed a visual language that communicates their emotional experiences, discovering the transformative potential of healing that can be found within this collective process. At the end of the session, we were lucky to have Anahita join us online from Iran where the participants posed their questions and she shared her artistic process and reflections which led to the creation of this work.
Anahita Farshchi, born in Tehran, Iran in 1985, holds a master’s degree in Visual Arts (illustration) and has a keen interest in exploring psychological concepts in art. Her primary focus and studies revolve around painting and the belief systems of abstract pioneers such as Wassily Kandinsky, Piet Mondrian, and Hilma af Klint.
Through her personal experiences in self-healing, combined with her passion for painting and research on the history of spiritualism, Anahita’s perspectives on art have undergone a transformative shift.
